The Shore Adventures mission  envisions that  every child, veteran, elder, and individual—regardless of ability, identity, or background—can find belonging, joy, and purpose 365 days a year.

3six0 was asked to imagine a new camp to support the goals and vision of Shore Adventures. The organizing idea of the project is to allow individual elements of the program to gather and combine together while maintaining autonomy at a larger scale. For example the camp’s reimagined cabins bring three arcs of dwelling into a unified whole, at the center of which is a larger group gathering space. Each bunkhouse maintains its independence while linking “arms” with the adjacent cabins suggesting a camp that gives place to each individual while building community as a whole.
